Olympic Lodge Guest Room Renovations

The Olympic Lodge at Olympic National Park was extensively rennovated to feature upgraded amenities and brand new furnishings throughout the hotel in 2005. We took our rooms down to bare walls and floors, rebuilding each element with an eye toward elegance and guest convenience. Now, in the eight years since, the lodging industry has been revolutionized by a new design paradigm: hotel rooms should look and feel like the home bedroom of your dreams. Big armoires and patterned bed spreads are out, replaced by wide-screen TVs and fluffy duvets.

As part of our ongoing committment to provide world-class lodging on the Olympic Peninsula, we are very excited to announce that the Olympic Lodge is once again reinventing itself to meet and exceed our guests' highest expectations!

Scheduled for completion fall 2013, we are upgrading to new luxurious premium bedding in all our guest rooms.  The existing bedspreads will be gone, replaced by beautiful crisp white duvet covers over fluffy lush duvets, and accented with brand new upgraded bed scarves and bed skirts.  During January 2013, we added brand new flat screen TVs, with a full suite of high definition channels, to all of our guest rooms.  These TVs are mounted atop solid-wood furniture, designed and hand-crafted specifically for our hotel by Oregon's Wood Castle Fine Hardwood Furniture.

Additional enhanced guest room features included in early 2013 were new iPod-docking alarm clocks designed especially for travelers with easy-to-set alarms that don't ring again the next day and a phone charging port.

Our General Manager, Holly Dempsey, had this to say about the upcoming changes: "I have never been this excited to work at the Olympic Lodge! Our guests have been asking for these updates to our rooms, and I am proud to say that we have heard you and we will continue to meet and exceed your expectations!"
